Just knocked this little thing together - me and my mate Jim doing a few laps of Jerez. He's on a GSX-R, I'm on a Fireblade. Starts off with him in front filmed from my bike then by the magic of Adobe Premier we swap around for a few laps before swapping back just before pitting in. Jerez is an awesome circuit, and a trip like that (2 days open pitlane) was exactly what was needed to round off the season. This was filmed on the second day, which was actually a bit slower than day 1 but rather smoother as well. Day 1 ended with a brief excursion into the gravel after a "Fuck I'm going too fast" brain fade. I wasn't going any faster than usual and wasn't on a different line, I just got distracted for a second and then overthought it instead of just turning the bloody corner. no damage - bike stayed upright and I almost managed to surf it all the way through but got beached. Walking away from your bike, stood upright in a gravel trap, is a surreal experience... If you get a chance, do the circuit, preferably on a bike but I suspect a decent car would be quite fun as well. It's linked just here...
